It's been forever...

Sun Feb 8, 2009, 7:51 AM
Sorry I haven't been around in such an incredibly long time but I have been busy producing work...mainly work that will seriously create paradigm shifts with thinking - de-constructing the grey matter into something I can reshape and reform into some gooey grey mess---art that has the same effect as a head injury...hmmm maybe.

One of the works Primordial Light is not yet finished, well one panel of the triptych is ---yes a large board of static...hand dotted billions upon trillions of times. People think it's patience, but its not its just obsessive compulsive madness and a desire to reach a state of transcendence (state of nothingness) not very successful in a busy studio but looking at the image should significantly making one feel ill.

For anyone that has written and I haven't responded I am sorry but uni work and the implementation of my creative ideas from the brain into something tangible has taken precedence---sometimes even at the cost of food and sleep...no one can ever accuse me of not suffering for my art.

first of all cheers

do you have an xbox360 or access to one? if so you I can explain to you how to do them yourself or if not I could download your music tracks and make little films for you myself. it's really easy to do, all you have to do is connect the 360 via a dvd recorder so you can record the results live. in the xbox360 there is an inbuilt fractal generator that creates visuals corresponding to the musical input you give it. the effects I achieved was by rapidly manipulating the analog sticks and pushing various buttons...the music though creates the image. the reason i mention this is because the visuals are tied to that particular track. any videos created would work best using your music in specific as the video would directly synchronize with the music itself.

also probably best to state, i'm not sure if videos made with this program can be used commercially since its the result of built in software in the 360. the software was created by Jeff Minter who has been creating psychedelic audio visual software since the beginning of computing. this software is an astounding piece of kit.

by the way I sent you a friend invite at myspace (izorpo).
